Steam Locomotives at Night

This is the premiere night photography that some may equal, but none excel . I would recommend any of his three books as the last word on N & W railroad photography as he only worked from 1954 thru 1960 on steam locomotives. His prints represent railroad art as well as photography . He was a civil engineer by training, but an artist by avocation . Self taught as a photographer.

2015 calendar returns with new quality photos

This calendar contains a new set of high-quality black and white photos from the collection of O Winston Link. The collection includes some of his amazing night photographs such as "Japanese Bridge", "Locamotive 104 Taking On Water" and "Ghost Town Stanley Virginia." There are also four daytime photos including "Train Pulling Out of Creek Junction" and "Leaving Green Cove". Most of these photos I have not seen in the previous calendars going back the last 6 years. This is a great collection for any fan of steam locomotives.

If you love steam trains...

OWL is most known for his night-time shots but the calendar also includes some great daytime shots I've never seen.
It sits on my wall each year and I can't wait to turn the page each month to see what the next shot will be.
