Decent, but not quite what I was looking for.

This is a good book overall. For the price it's well worth it. A substantial portion of the book had to do with doing your own catering, something I have no intentions of looking into. The content overall was top quality, I just wish there would have been even more that was applicable to my needs.

A must read for anyone planning a wedding

Vivaldo insists you can have your dream wedding, even if you don't have much money.
The book shows you how to manage it all, from the timeline that explains what needs to be done, and when, to the checklists that will make it easy to understand where, and how much, money you can spend.
I really liked the sensible suggestions of what to consider when choosing a reception site. Would it have occurred to you to ask about restrooms and electrical outlets? She suggests many different venues for a reception as well, including art galleries and the beach.
The last half of the book details 8 different wedding menus, including recipes and yummy looking pictures. The home made wedding cakes at the end look divine, too.
