Maggie Greenwood-Robinson is an accomplished author, co-author, and ghostwriter who has written more than 45 books in the areas of psychology, health, and inspiration. She wrote The Biggest Loser, a New York Times bestseller that was the official diet/fitness book for NBC’s hit reality show of the same name.

Carb Counter

The Car Counter book is okay, but it lists many resturant foods and fewer home foods. Since I don't do fast food at all, it is of little use to me.

It's hard finding a particular item. Way too much info on restaurants/fast food places if you never eat out. If I had seen this in a store, I would have NEVER bought it.

Carb Counting

I am disappointed in that this book lists most or all of the special products(foods) for sale instead of every day foods used in meal preparation. i.e. half cup of flour, corn meal, sugar, syrup, etc. Special products by Atkins, Weight Watchers, etc. seem to really take up most of the book listings. I suppose that would be very helpful if one were on that kind of diet, but I was looking for something more on general, regular type foods. Perhaps the good Dr. should rename her book? i.e. remove the word 'essential', at least!!
