I am a great fan of James Lee Burke--he can do no wrong

I am a great fan of James Lee Burke--he can do no wrong. That said, I wonder what the result would be if he summoned all courage and broke out of the winning formula he uses over and over again with his Robicheaux novels.

Great Read!

As a huge fan of James Lee Burke, I anxiously await the release of each Dave Robicheaux novel. Pegasus Descending, Burke's 15th entry in the Robicheaux series, continues in the tradition of providing a consistently rivetting read. Robicheaux and his loyal and impulsive sidekick, Clete Purcel, are compelling heros. Each man has a lengthy list of imperfections and personal demons they must overcome as they match wits with mobsters, drug pushers, politicians and other assorted characters in their efforts to solve the murders of a young, beautiful college student and a forgotten street person. Burke has, once again, provided his fans with a great read.
